Principal Investigator
Eric Brown Labs, LLC is an independent research organization with a single member. Eric Brown graduated with a B.S. in Physics from Harvey Mudd College in 2002. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2007 for his work in turbulent Rayleigh-Benard convection with Guenter Ahlers. He spent time as a Postdoctoral Scholar in The James Franck Institute at the University of Chicago working with Heinrich Jaeger, and was an assistant professor at the University of California, Merced, and Yale University.
Activities
I work as a free agent, doing research on a consulting basis, collaborations, or projects of my own desire. Follow the links above for details of previous research. I also spend time teaching and reviewing. I have mechanical testing User Facilities that I can train students on, or perform tests or other research on a consulting basis.
